Pastor Matthew Cannata answered the call to ministry at the age of sixteen and has since devoted his life to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the years, he has traveled throughout the United States and overseas ministering the Word of God in churches, conferences, revivals, and various ministry settings. Through anointed worship, dynamic preaching, and a deep passion for revival, Pastor Cannata has developed a reputation for creating an atmosphere where lives are transformed by the power of God.

In April of 2009, Pastor Cannata married Michelle Sanford, who faithfully serves alongside him as First Lady of Redeeming Love Church. Lady Michelle is a gifted teacher, singer, and true worshiper whose heart for ministry has been a tremendous strength to both the church and their pastor. Together, they stepped out in faith and planted The Potter's House Apostolic Church in August of 2012, beginning with just ten people gathered in their living room.

In June of 2017, Pastor and Lady Cannata assumed the pastorate of a second work, Redeeming Love Church. Through the leading of the Holy Ghost and God’s divine favor, they pastored both churches separately for five months. Then, under spiritual counsel and the direction of God, the two congregations officially merged on October 1, 2017. Since that time, Pastor Cannata, Lady Michelle, and the Redeeming Love Church family have continued to carry the vision of being “A Healing Place for a Hurting World.”

Pastor Cannata is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and faithfully serves on the North American Missions Board for the Indiana District UPCI. Through passionate leadership, a burden for souls, and a commitment to apostolic truth, Pastor Cannata continues to impact lives and advance the Kingdom of God.
